ICBC Acupuncture & Recovery
in Burnaby
Direct Billing • Personalized Recovery Care • Easy Booking
We help patients recover from motor vehicle injuries with professional acupuncture care and direct billing to ICBC — making the treatment process simple and stress-free.
How does it work?
If you’ve been involved in a motor vehicle accident, ICBC may approve acupuncture treatments during the first 12 weeks of your recovery.
At Harmony Hill Wellness, we provide acupuncture care for common post-collision symptoms such as neck pain, back tension, headaches, stiffness, and muscle discomfort. Treatments are tailored to your condition and recovery progress.
We offer direct billing to ICBC for eligible visits with no additional clinic fees. Simply provide your claim number when booking.
Our clinic serves Burnaby and nearby communities with a calm, professional approach focused on helping you return to normal daily movement and function as comfortably as possible.
How ICBC Treatment Works
Step 1 — Report Your ICBC Claim
After your accident, report your claim to ICBC online or by phone. Once your claim is opened, you will receive an ICBC claim number.
Step 2 — Book Your Appointment
You can begin treatment right away — no doctor’s referral is needed during the first 12 weeks after your accident under ICBC Enhanced Care.
Simply contact our clinic and provide:
- Your ICBC claim number
- Your Personal Health Number (PHN)
- Date of accident
Step 3 — Start Your Recovery
ICBC pre-approves a number of treatments during the first 12 weeks after your accident, including acupuncture care. Our team will help guide your recovery plan based on your symptoms, mobility, and daily function.
Step 4 — Direct Billing to ICBC
We directly bill ICBC for your eligible treatments. Your initial visit includes a comprehensive injury assessment followed by your first treatment. For all subsequent visits, you receive dedicated, one-on-one clinical care. Because we handle the billing directly, there are no upfront clinic fees for approved sessions—keeping the process simple and stress-free while you focus on recovery.
Step 5 — If You Need Ongoing Care
If your recovery requires more than 12 sessions or extends beyond 12 weeks, additional treatment may still be available. To prevent any disruption in your recovery plan, our clinic must submit a Treatment Plan to ICBC 1 to 2 weeks before your pre-approved limits expire. Your practitioner will proactively monitor your progress and communicate with ICBC to request this extended care when clinically appropriate.
